A Proper Schedule?!

Hello everyone! I wanted to put in writing that I have been attempting new scheduling and habits for myself to be more consistent and get better at completing projects. It’s both so I can be more productive and be happier with myself creatively. It’s been working the past 3 weeks, so I hope to keep this going!

The current schedule is to have a new writeup posted every Friday by 11:59 PM / 23:59 military time my time.

Sorry that its basically following school submission cram timing lol, it is what is working for me to better get things done and move to the next thing (rather than getting stuck in a limbo of procrastination born from perfectionism like I can struggle with, ending up with tons of WIPS and new ideas with barely anything reaching a completed state). ADHD haver here who has always struggled with being productive and feeling satisfied with myself. Don’t worry, I am not falling into the “sigma grindset” or pressures to keep up with other people on the internet or anything lol. I just want to be better at doing what I want to and should be capable of doing. And I think having a deadline so you can be done with something and move on can be very helpful. As someone who can get very wrapped up in the trap of putting it off in the hopes that future you will make it better, don’t let it keep you from doing what you aim to. You can’t get better if you don’t finish anything.

If you want to check consistently once a week you might as well check on Saturdays just in case it takes longer for it to show up or if there are any issues. And if I can get extra things done, I plan for those to go up Mondays. I am planning for the chapter reviews of Omori and Bocchi the Rock to not take the Friday slot and go up on Mondays.

Videos are up in the air right now. I would like to get back into doing them and have blog posts and videos go up simultaneously (I’ll catch up with the already posted blogs first) but that will hopefully come with time as I continue to improve my work process.
