A Proper Schedule?!

Hello everyone! I wanted to put in writing that I have been attempting new scheduling and habits for myself to be more consistent and get better at completing projects. It’s both so I can be more productive and be happier with myself creatively. It’s been working the past 3 weeks, so I hope to keep this going!

The current schedule is to have a new writeup posted every Friday by 11:59 PM / 23:59 military time my time.

Sorry that its basically following school submission cram timing lol, it is what is working for me to better get things done and move to the next thing (rather than getting stuck in a limbo of procrastination born from perfectionism like I can struggle with, ending up with tons of WIPS and new ideas with barely anything reaching a completed state). ADHD haver here who has always struggled with being productive and feeling satisfied with myself. Don’t worry, I am not falling into the “sigma grindset” or pressures to keep up with other people on the internet or anything lol. I just want to be better at doing what I want to and should be capable of doing. And I think having a deadline so you can be done with something and move on can be very helpful. As someone who can get very wrapped up in the trap of putting it off in the hopes that future you will make it better, don’t let it keep you from doing what you aim to. You can’t get better if you don’t finish anything.

If you want to check consistently once a week you might as well check on Saturdays just in case it takes longer for it to show up or if there are any issues. And if I can get extra things done, I plan for those to go up Mondays. I am planning for the chapter reviews of Omori and Bocchi the Rock to not take the Friday slot and go up on Mondays.

Videos are up in the air right now. I would like to get back into doing them and have blog posts and videos go up simultaneously (I’ll catch up with the already posted blogs first) but that will hopefully come with time as I continue to improve my work process. New Tags and Categories Page!

Hello everyone, I hope you have been enjoying the blog! I have added a Tags and Categories Page to replace the Series List. There you can see all the categories of blog posts (which refers to the “type” of post it is, like what media form it is talking about, what purpose it has, etc.) and Tags (which refers to the series being covered and other identifiers like what season of anime it came from or genres). I’ve also been working hard to go back and standardize the tags and categories, and there will be additions and changes over time. The bigger the size means the more it’s been used, but these will fluctuate, so don’t assume smaller means they won’t be used.

Please check that out if you want an easy way to see all the different things that have been written about here! It will help with finding older writings that you may enjoy but didn’t know about, seeing everything in a particular series, and seeing everything in a particular topic, focus etc.

Video Blog Uploads Incoming!

Rei Caldombra here, I’m working on doing video versions of my posts and uploading them to my Youtube channel. For these videos I will be directly reading the blog post with my vtuber model on screen, with some minor additions I feel like saying on the spot. I want to provide an alternative to just reading, and this will be good if you like having stuff to just listen to as well. I hope y’all will enjoy them! I also want to get stuff on my Youtube channel again lol. I still want to finish my Lock’s Quest playthrough too… but I’m enjoying blogging a lot so it’s the first priority.

I’ll be uploading a batch of them soon. I’ll also try to have audio versions done on release for new posts when I can. Once I’ve uploaded an audio blog video, I’ll add the link to the video in the original post’s page.
